It’s tomorrow (Thursday, April 14) at First Sewing, Bloomington and there’s going to be ALOT of fabric to swap!!!! Please come and take some. Somebody was moving… There will be some diamonds and some duds but it’s all free and going to Goodwill by 4 pm.
There will also be great sewing inspiration! Here’s what we saw at the Sewing Lounge Wednesday. There were 27 people and we stood on a chair so all could see-but we had a great time 🙂 Thanks for keeping on keeping on.

Hi Kristin,
I’m so glad I was able to attend yesterday’s meeting; there was a lot of good energy in that room! I wish I could have talked to you more yesterday. I’m heading out to kayak in the San Juan Islands in Washington state a week from today. I know you and Debbie have attended sewing expos/conventions out there. What is your favorite fabric store out there? We will gain access to the islands through Anacortes, north of Seattle. I don’t know if I can convince my other friends to stop by so I can browse, but I could give it a try.
Any suggestions?
Bernie

Wasn’t it a great meeting at Sewing Lounge! Stylemaker Fabrics is in Stanwood, WA, about 50 miles from Seattle and I’m not sure if you’d have to make an appointment or not. Pacific Fabrics had a big presence when we went to Puyallup but look at what they carry before you go. Looks like Seattle Fabrics is online only. Are any of your other favorite outdoor fabric places near Seattle?
Have a great trip!
