Shirts with Bernie

Wednesday, May 17, 1:30-4 (Morning class is full)

Class size will be 6

We’ve seen the meticulous and beautiful shirts Bernie makes-spend time learning his techniques, favorite methods and secrets for making this wardrobe staple for men and women.

Come to class with your supplies and work along with Bernie on collars, plackets and cuffs. Precut pattern pieces will be provided for class demonstration and practice-you will have to make a whole shirt on your own time 🙂

Supplies:

Sewing machine (small is better/space is limited)

Light colored thread and bobbin

Small trimming scissors or duck billed scissors

Pins

Needle and thread

Garment Sewing Group—Garment Sewing Group is a monthly no-sew meeting featuring garments, pattern modification and review, and the latest news in the sewing world. You will be provided with tips, techniques and new ideas that are sure to inspire you. Current fashion, chic wear, proper fit, and children’s wear are some of the topics we will explore. Whether you are an experienced sewist (and you’ve been quilting while waiting for something like this:) or just beginning – this group is for you!
