Garment Sewing Group

Garment Sewing Group is a monthly no-sew meeting featuring garments, pattern modification and review, and the latest news in the sewing world. You will be provided with tips, techniques and new ideas that are sure to inspire you. Current fashion, chic wear, proper fit, and children’s wear are some of the topics we will explore. Whether you are an experienced sewist (and you’ve been quilting while waiting for something like this:) or just beginning – this group is for you! Bring Show and Tell for a chance to win a door prize.

We have 3 meetings per month in 3 different locations-please check “Garment Sewing Group” in the main menu for other dates and locations-many people attend multiple meetings (just pay once 🙂

Basic & Beyond Sergery

New serger or own one you don’t know how to use? Confused about threading? Take the fear out of serging and get comfortable with what could become your favorite sewing tool. Repeat or refresh, catch up or start as a beginner.

Two session class will cover machine parts, threads and threading, basic construction and specialty stitches. You may want to take Sewing With Knits for maximum serger knowledge and hands on experience.

Wednesdays, 24 & 31, 10:30-12:30

Cost: $65

Sewing With Knits

Not too confident with your serger or knits? Want learn more about sewing garments? Sew a summer tee and tackle your fears. Serger not required but recommended.

Wednesdays, May 24 & 31, 1:30-3:30

Cost: $65 or $55 if taken with Basic & Beyond Sergery
