Material Girls began when Debbie, Kristin and Laurel set out to reestablish the “I Love to Sew” clubs from the fabric store Sew Amazing and previously, Stretch & Sew. Both stores have gone out of business but the women who attended these clubs every month seem happy to be back together and to have a way to share and talk about sewing news. That was back in May 2009 and now the word is spreading and even more people know about and take part in Fashion Sewing Club-we call it Garment Sewing Group-and the classes that are connected to it. We hope you will dust off your machine and come join us!
